Re: HDRI and radiosity (part 2)

Hi Sven, You are absolutly right about the colour light grey. For some reason light grey has a bigger highlight than other colour. See for example (URL) the colours (in this instance red, light grey and dark grey) have the same finish. This means (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Povray with LGEO changes part 3464 into 3461

When trying to render set 386 using LGEO I noticed that the wheels with stub axles (part 3464) were replaced with helicopter rotors (part 3461). I find some postings about this dating 2 years ago. Is there a solution or workaround for this already? (...) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: HDRI and radiosity

(...) I've forwarded Orion's email with the file and instructions on how to use it to you. I hope it helps somehow. What program are you rendering this with? POV-Ray, I presume? How are you doing the HDRI with POV? -Mike (20 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: HDRI and radiosity

  HDRI and radiosity

Hi again, I'm still working on a good way to use hdri with MLCad pictures. And I found out that grey is a "bad" color. Pictures with grey models are always too dark. I can only fix this if I place additional light sources. I don't know the reason (...) (20 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: Custom colours and POVRay

  Custom colours and POVRay
