  Re: Inline POV-Ray code?

(...) I don't know if any official parts do it, but it is possible. Based on an earlier lugnet.cad.ray message, you do this: 0 L3P IFNOTPOV (regular ldraw code goes here) 0 L3P ELSEPOV 0 (POV-Ray code goes here, commented-out) 0 L3P ENDPOV You can (...)   Inline POV-Ray code?

I seem to recall that some curved parts have separate definitions in the parts file itself for POV-Ray to render them better. But I can't find any. Is this actually possible? Do such parts exist?   Re: Larger Renderings?

I'd like to have a little word with Duncan Jardine - Winner of the SOTM September 2001 on Ldraw.org

Hi Duncan, I'd like to ask you some question about your rendering. Unfortunately you haven't left any e-mail-address. Please contact me. Many thx. Willy (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.people)

Brickcaster Web Page: First Dragon Masters MOC (with building instructions)

Thanks to Chris Dee for the unofficial Dragon Masters minifig torso. Actual renders make me aware I have been too demanding in the past regarding quality of minifig torsos. They are so small in real pictures! Damien (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Larger Renderings?

yes just edit the quickres.ini file. The best way to do this is go to Render->Edit Settings/Render In the INI file heading click edit Then just copy one of the entries, paste it at the end and change the height/width to your choosing -Orion (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Larger Renderings?

Help! I use the POV-Ray Windows interface for rendering .pov files. As far as I can tell, the largest image I can render is 1280x1024. Is there a way to render larger? Thanks! Jake --- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I have been asked what is the military usage of this MOC. I think the new page is now clear: this MOC is more political than military. Is file XYZ and animation file. If so, then render just the first frame using Subset_Start_Frame = 1 Subset_End_Frame = 1 This will just render the 1st frame of you file. At the lower-right hand of POV once the file is done rendering it will tell (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
