Um...I know I said I was going to LDraw the Black Hawk, however there was a piece that I could not find so I chose to do the Inferno instead. Well I finally decided to get with it and learn LDraw, etc, etc. Although when I went looking for it I found MLCAD...WOW! SO much easier to use, build, understand, etc, etc. I mean I went halfway through the tutorial and jumped right into making my (...) Is there a way to drag a part from the part window into the model, and have it put in the same location of the previous part? Every time I drag a part into the overhead view, it ends up at z=0. -John Van (24 years ago, 13-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

If you want, I can point out the pertinant sections of the LDView code which deal with this. I ran into similar problems, but managed to get the following behavior: 1. (...) instead (...) it's (...) Generally MLCad remembers the window-size and position when MLCad is closed and started the next time. I noticed big problems when MLCad was minimized when closed => then you just could minimize or maximize MLCad and (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

This is just a little nitpick, but I noticed that when MLCad starts up, it isn't maximized. It is set to fill the screen, but not actually in a maximized state. Occasionally i have accidentally gone to minimize the screen and instead dragged the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  MLCAD Error Question
 
I downloaded the new LDRAW parts distribution the other day and now I get numerous errors similar to this one when I use MLCAD: File studel.dat not found, continue loading? I have encountered half a dozen or so similar errors. Ideas? Mike - (...) (24 years ago, 6-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
