  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Still missing the roof but the tires showed up and now the model renders just fine. I don't get why, but problem solved. Thank you all-Ken (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Hmm.. Try this: - Go here: (URL) and download and install the complete Ldraw Parts Library - Open MLCad - Run Scan Parts (it's under the File Menu) and when it asks you if you want to write a new Parts.lst file click Yes - Open the problem (...)   Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Yes, I don't seem to have the cab roof or the tires in my parts file so I get errors on both of those, however I don't think that would affect the render ing of the entire model. Did this come out as a pin point for you or is it just (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Well it wasn't the problem I thought it was. By the way, are you getting an error message when you open the file? Something to the effect of part 45677 not found. -Orion (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Wait a minute, I take that back. I don't really know what the rotation point is set at because it doesn't seem to match the specifications here: (URL) an extra 1 between the x,y,z coordinates and the Name. 0 ROTATION CENTER 0 0 0 1 "Custom" (...)   Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Hey, That's a really nifty truck. Maybe the problem is the ROTATION CONFIG line for the main model. If you scan the file you'll see all the subfiles have this: 0 ROTATION CONFIG 0 0 But the wwym_truck_v8_instructions.ldr subfile does this. 0 (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Can you post the link to the file? I'd like to help and acutally think I know what the problem is but I'd like to see the file to confirm it. -Orion (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Help?-Odd problem

I downloaded James Mathis's wwym .mpd file. All of the sub models work fine. On the assembled and instruction files the model comes out the size of a pin head (no exageration). Zooming in solves this but since you can't zoom in to print pictures I (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: MLCad 3.0 on windows 95

I thought installing every VBRuntime upgrade available did the trick: (URL) just downloaded all and installed them, increasing versions. Still the problem remains. Could it just be the computer: an old Pentium 1, 90 Mhz? Please help! Jaco "Michael (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: MLCad 3.0 on windows 95

All versions of MLCad should work on windows 95. However the versions before 3.00 had a logging bug filling up the diskspace. I must confess (I hope I spelled that right) that I didn't test this version (3.00) with 95 but it worked with 98 and ME. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: MLCad 3.0 on windows 95

Another question then: What version of MLCad *does* work on Win 95 without a lot of effort? I still have almost all past releases on archive CD's. Thanks!   MLCad 3.0 on windows 95

Hi all, Is it possible to run MLCad 3.00 on Windows 95? I got the program running, but the general setup screens do not work! Tabs Rendering and Document make it crash. Jaco (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I do, but I have encountered similar problems in the past. Do you have an ATI or Creative Labs video card? They tend to require fresh drivers after a directX upgrade... (...) Joe Greene UNIX Systems, Network and IT Specialist a.k.a. Guesseppi (...) (21 years ago, 26-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: MLCad blacked out views problem

(...) Yes, with no problems. Sounds like you got a problem with Windows that, by sheer coincidence, manifested itself at the same time you installed MLCad. (21 years ago, 25-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: MLCad blacked out views problem

I'm beginning to wonder if Direct X 9 is the problem. Although I can't say this problem started immediately after I upgraded to Direct X 9 it was definitly around the same time that the blackout problem started. Anyone else have Direct X 9 installed (...) (21 years ago, 25-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Possible Bug?

Joe, the hidden attribute is never saved. So when you save such a hidden group, only the group itself is saved, not the hidden attribute. When you reload the model now, you will see the group again. When you ungroup the "group" its just split up (...) (21 years ago, 24-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  MLCad blacked out views problem

I recently upgraded to version 3 of MLCad and I'm having a problem were all the views have turned black.
