I suppose you could do that. You cannot save settings though. So you will have to prepare your settings before you burn the CD I think... I am getting a laptop from my company,but instaling programs is enabled this for staying out of trouble with illegal programs (what i can understand) So I want to now if i can run MLcad from a cd.   MLCAD for PALM?
 
Has anyone ever thought about compiling MLcad for use with palm pilots or other PDA's? I'm not technically savvy enough to know what the difficulties would be let alone whether or not it's even possible. All I know is that it would make it an even (...) (...) I just installed MLCAD, LDraw, complete, on my new XP install on my laptop. The parts you are asking about above are showing up just fine in my install. (...) erm, hate to sound like a know-it-all (cos I don't know it all) but the floor is a switch which isn't on by default. In L3P the switch to turn the floor on is -F. Update I downloaded the complete update for the parts. I extracted the file into the parts directory. Running mklist.exe returned a new parts list. However, the parts needed are not in the complete.exe. I took a look at the official parts list which (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I can't remember how old the plan is but I'd say likely about a year as the thread of messages were fairly old. The parts that are listed as not being (...) (...) Small tip: when using Powerpoint (or any other Office application) convert the LDR without a floor and render your pictures as PNG with Alpha channel. The 'cartoon' version that MegaPOV produces is MUCH better at allowing you to see the different pieces that are being added to the model in each step. See any of by building instructions (...) Hi, I was looking at Jin Sato's website and found a listing of building instructions for some of his models. (...) first of all, which "plan" are you trying to open? If it is very recent, there may be many parts in it referenced that are not part of the OFFICIAL Ldraw parts list. Having said that, have you tried to down load the bulk of the "unofficial" (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi, I'm new to Ldraw and MLCAD. Basically trying to help the father in law get a plan from LUGNET. I installed LDRAW and the complete parts library as per instructions on the Ldraw site. I then installed MLCad. I ran the program, scanned for new (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
