Re: Technic Gear 42 Tooth (744.dat) issue?

(...) Works fine for me. But the 42z gear is part 644 and 744 is a "moved to" file on my system William (14 years ago, 7-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Technic Gear 42 Tooth (744.dat) issue?

Anyone else have trouble displaying Technic Gear 42 Tooth (744.dat) in MLCad? Be careful, on my system, it causes an immediate hard crash of MLCad, losing any changes in your dat file! I'm pretty sure that it's the first time that I've ever seen (...) (14 years ago, 7-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  MLCad.ini 2009-03 Update Now Available

Hi folks, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2009-02. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator. Download the file from my website: (URL) w. (14 years ago, 30-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

(...) Ran into more trouble today when I tried to use LSynth from MLCad. LSynth complained it couldn't find the necessary LS** part no matter what type of synthesizing I tried. When I copied all the LS** files that are in the unofficial\LSynth (...) (15 years ago, 15-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

(...) The theory behind the explanation is sound, but I don't see how is applies in this case. No files are actually missing: I can find all the files MLCad complains about in my LDraw\Unofficial\P\48 folder, and when I dump all the unofficial files (...)   Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

(...) Willy's explanation is correct. This part in the unofficial library references primitives that don't exist - anywhere (except maybe on the author's own system). So MLcad is unable to fully render it, even with a full copy of the unofficial (...) (15 years ago, 3-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

(...) It's independent of a file. I start with an empty file and click on the Technic section of the parts tree and get a load of warnings about 48\peghole.dat and a number of other files that are missing. At the same time there is a big red X in (...) (15 years ago, 2-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

(...) OK, that seems to be ok. I have additional Parts\s and P\48 hided added to this list. Can you send a file where that problem occur? cu mikeheide (15 years ago, 1-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

(...) I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case, if the full unofficial file were somehow incomplete , but if I dump all the unofficial files into the official folder MLCad never complains. Jetro (15 years ago, 1-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
