Do you see the red outline on the main window and the text "Main" on the top left corner? Do you see the preview of the piece on the right side? This sounds like a driver problem to me, do you have the latest version of your video card drivers? (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Anyway... - Open a fresh new LeoCAD instance - Click on "Brick 1x1" in the right listbox - Press "Insert" key on the keyboard (this is the only way to add new (...) When LeoCAD reads a file, it discards all parts that are not present in its part library. To be able to keep track of unofficial parts used by the author but that are not in standard library, I have written a little utility to establish a part list (...) I don't know why you think that, I posted on the LeoCAD mailing list last week trying to track down a bug and the parts update on the website has all LDraw updates included. I haven't released a new version in a long time, but I keep making small (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) Well, the last message from Leonardo Zide (the developer) is from January. There hasn't been an update for over a year so it looks like it. I think he's simplt too busy on the moment......... Ha, my post certainly stirred up some folks out there! I just want to let you know that allthough I'm not a mac user I simply prefer Leocad above (for example) MLCad because I think it's simply more intuitive and works a lot faster. I know that (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) But isn't Ldglite just a viewer, compared to the editor Leocad? That said, it seems to have the advantage of actually working, so maybe Emacs + Ldglite would be a viable way to edit Ldraw files. Last time I tried Leocad it crashed after a (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) Ouch! That stings. While it may not be as pretty as LeoCAD (or well documented) ldglite does work on linux. Here's a snapshot of ldglite creating a hose on an old mandrake system.
