Hi folks, it appears that thanks to the hard work of the LSC the LDraw specs have undergone considerably changes. Just to mention one the Colinear Tolerance for Concave Quads: http://news.lugnet.com/cad/?n=16258 but the changes in the LDraw.org File Format Restrictions for Official Parts: http://www.ldraw.org/Article512.html are not reflected by the PT Reference: http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/ref/l3pmsg/ when it come down to hold a part. I also find the title "L3P -check Messages" quite misleading since now there are also progs like LDView, LDDP or Datheader which perform test for PT fitness beside the fact that for example the -dist and -det tests: http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/ref/l3pmsg/#note2 have been substituted with Philo’s: http://news.lugnet.com/cad/?n=15301 IMHO it is high time to revise the entire L3P -check Messages page and set a new standard for holding a part. Thoughts? w.

(...) I think the best would be to make an upgrade to L3P for current standards, as it is the most used checking tool IMHO.
