This page definitely needs to be updated, if only to add text saying that
planarcheck should be used instead for checking non-coplanar quads.  I didn't
see the lugnet post when that standard changed, and it's hard or impossible to
find the new rules from the parts tracker.  The l3p page should also have a link
somewhere to that file format restrictions page you mentioned.

Hi folks, it appears that thanks to the hard work of the LSC the LDraw specs have undergone considerably changes. Just to mention one the Colinear Tolerance for Concave Quads: (URL) the changes in the LDraw.org File Format Restrictions for Official (...) (15 years ago, 29-Jun-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
