(...) Hmm. There's a couple of problems with your examples. In overdraw2.png, you are having the quad intersect the circle exactly at two vertices. First I would like to point out, that some of the renderings I supplied specifically represent quads in GREY and tris in WHITE, and some have all the polys edge lines (the intrinsic edges) drawn, to be able to see the tesselation applyed.
