Re: LDRAWPREDIRS LDRAWPOSTDIRS - additional search paths

(...) I'm only willing to abandon environment variables if you're willing to go the distance and really try to work out a standard that we all can use. I, like Lars, was quite disappointed when you got impatient and cut short the previous discussion (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Mac Brick CAD 2.2b1 New Release

After the level of input from the previous release, I've managed to update MBC again to version 2.2b1 This release fixes a couple of major memory bugs and also mainly adds some of the features that have been requested recently (and before) It is now (...)   Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) I am thinking of updating L3P Launcher so that it integrates more completely with POV-Ray. I'll add a POV-Ray window that allows you to set basic POV-Ray settings (like size, file format, etc). After the image renders, L3P Launcher will even (...) (22 years ago, 29-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) OK, that sounds fair. I believe it would be a good idea for MBC to report when a file (or files) are missing. A single list of all missing files would be much better than a dialog per file. As I found out, there does not appear to be any error (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

Jim, Some great feedback, keep it comming. Rather than tackle uour suggestions, one by one, I've kept them and you will find many incorporated in future releases. There is a new release on the blocks - give me a few more days, this version has a (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

I played with MBC for the first time last weekend and I had to stop and do a dance of joy! Thank you, thank, thank you! The thought of having to buy Virtual PC again just to work with OS X, loading it and Windoze, and then working with MCAD in slow (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) Ray, From the sounds of it you haven't installed the parts files. You need to either go to www.ldraw.org to get these files or downlad the version 2.0 with these files (it's the one that ends in .dmg). Rather than going through the whole (...)   Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) Hi, I just installed MBC 2.1b1 on an iMac G3/600Mhz running 10.2.6. While viewing the forklift sample file, one thing caught my eye: ltGray bushings floating in mid-air. The Instructions file shows a similar picture (M850 Forklift.dat) which (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) in reference to shift selecting multiple bricks (...) I just checked Mac Lego Modeler (MBC v0.1), MBC 0.2d1, MBC 0.5d2, and MBC 2.0b1. None of those older versions of MBC shift select for me. I simply assumed that shift selecting hadn't been (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) Yes, I can use the text drawer to shift multiselect. (...) Nope, option clicking doesn't do that special rotation. (...) Nope, the command key doesn't reactivate model rotation. Chris (PB G3...
