  LDraw part origin rule
 
TrackDraw's parts are 2D models of 3D parts as viewed from the top. TrackDraw attempts to maintain LDraw compatibility by using the same origin and orientation. Despite the fact that ldraw.org is a site about ldraw, the fact is that any new user trying to build models would almost certainly be better off running MLCad than LEdit.
