Re: Planes & Requirements for a generic download-tool

  Planes & Requirements for a generic download-tool

Hy, after exchanging some mails with Tim Courtney, I'm planing to write a generic download-utility for LDraw/LEdit stuff. The basic idea behind is to have a utility which can be used to download a specific program and/or the part libraries. Also an (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: We're on the itinerary!

(...) The ldraw.org site header logo *is* the text of the sign. It will be a HUGE rendering of the 2x3 brick on the site, with LDRAW detailed on the studs, and the words 'ldraw.org, Centralized LDraw Resources' in the same visual arrangement as the (...)   Can LDAO do this? (was: anyone interested in rendering for me?)

(...) What would be better is if there were a utility to help automate POVRAY rendering of MOC instruction books, kinda like what LDraw Add-On does for LDLite instruction renderings.   ldraw.org Logo Change

Well... In an interesting question and answer session I had originally with Brad Justus, it came to my attention that TLC did not approve of the 3D red brick ldraw.org logo.   Re: Whats the color # for "silver"

(...) Maybe, but LDraw renderers typically aren't sophisticated enough to render a chromed surface, so the only possible differences are in the color. If you take away the shiny/reflective nature of the chromed parts, I think the color would be very (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Site change suggestion
