| | Idea for ldraw.org page
|
| How about recognizing, either on the front page, or on the download page, the most prolific part authors per vote or per year. It seems like there are usually 3-4 authors at any given time who really carry the load for creating new parts, and it (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

| (...) I registered leocad.org at www.domainmonger.com for $17/year. A guy from work registered a domain for $3/year but they add an annoying frame with ads, I don't think it's worth it but if you want I can get the address for you. Leonardo (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| (...) I have no knowledge of writing scripts for converting files between CAD packages but I would be interested to know if anyone has or could write a converter from MLCAD to AutoCAD. AutoCAD like Microstation and 3DSMAX has a built in rendering (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: *** The best LEGO CAD software ? ***
|
| I'm a bit new to this myself, so someone correct me if I'm wrong. I recommend using MLCAD (on Windows) to actually edit the LEGO models. This is a very good editor, but it only has rudimentary display capabilities. Then, get L3P to convert the MLCAD (...) (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

| Dear Part Authors, As I am a little vain, I wish to know if there is anyone besides me who still uses the LDraw Script Compiler. So, please let me know what your experiences are. | | LDraw color codes needed for rendering program
|
| Hello, Over a year ago, I mentioned on this list that I was considering making a new Lego CAD program for Windows and Linux, but until now I've been really pressed for time. This weekend I finally resumed the project and got the rendering engine (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Now for the second question: LeoCAD and all LDraw derived programs have the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

L3lab was set to the default viewer, when I open the part to edit, L3lab also starts and changes the part view as changes are made. :D The (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
