| Jonathan: (...) For a temporary fix, append the following line to "/etc/hosts" (that's the name of the file in Unix): 130.226.51.217 hugin.risoe.dk www.ldraw.org That way your machine will skip looking www.ldraw.org up through DNS. | | Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)
|
| Hi all, Any chance to bring this topic back to attention? Would it be possible to make an LDraw VIEWER for Pocket PC (Windows Mobile, CE or other portable systems). You could indeed put the parts on a memory card and view any LDraw model (as long as (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: txt2dat - Create LDraw files from text

| (...) Yeah, I was gonna suggest you convert the "font" from the ldraw lettered tiles into a cheesy builtin internal font, which would be used by default. Then add a -f before the font if you can find a better one somewhere. That way you could make (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: Unofficial Parts Path
|
| (...) This is a nice tip, thank you. Yes, I agree that it would be nice to be able to arbitrarily enable/disable/set/configure the paths LDraw (ok, maybe not ldraw.exe and ledit.exe per se) uses to search for parts. Mike (15 years ago, 22-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: Elections and Membership in ldraw.org

| (...) That's another possibility, yes. The LUGNET server could generate a cryptographically signed string and e-mail this to a user, who could then cut and paste the string and submit it to the ldraw.org server, which would then decode the string (...) | | Re: LDRAW Package format?
|
| (...) Ldglite is still fairly primitive. For Windows, it's basically just an executable and a dll. If you don't give it an ldraw path, it should just look in the directory containing the model, and in the model file itself (if it's an MPD). Is that (...)
