Yep, there are many such "errors".  We have only just agreed to a way to
reconcile these problems, for the future and for existing parts.
Generally, existing parts with 7xxxx numbers will changed.  The 7xxxx number
will refer to a hard-coded part in a reference category, and a corresponding
#16 part, with a 3-digit part number, will be added for modeling.
So existing models using that 7xxxx number will work, though colors may be off
if the user custom-colored the piece.

Notice I said "Generally".  I am NOT making a hard and fast proclamation of
what will be done to each and every part.  There may be unforeseen exceptions
to this.  Each part will have to be evaluated as applicable.
