Need partnumbers and some partnames —Niels Karsdorp
Now the parts update 2003-03 is released, I started to make some parts I have already created ready for upload to the parts tracker. I need partnumbers for the following parts. I also want to know if the partnames are correct. * Technic Brick 1 x 2 (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Need partnumbers and some partnames —Niels Karsdorp
(...) There are trainbases with and without motorcutouts, some with the same size. That's why I suggested to add the cutout to the name. Also for seeking those parts as one of them is just a plate. Perhaps adding Motorcutout as a keyword can help to (...) (20 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

Re: Need partnumbers and some partnames —Steve Bliss
(...) I think putting Motor Cutout in the keywords would work, if we can't reasonably fit it in the part title. (...) OK, I think Stop and Proceed are OK for the names. (...) So the light bulb can be physically removed from the complete part? But (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jan-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Need partnumbers and some partnames —Niels Karsdorp
(...) When I tried to upload this part, it got rejected because there was a x322.dat already on the PT.... Before this rejection I have uploaded two subparts s\x322s01.dat and s\x322s02.dat. Niels (20 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Need partnumbers and some partnames —Chris Dee
(...) OK - I have moved the existing x322.dat out of the way (to x289.dat). Chris (20 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 4.5V Semaphore Signal —Niels Karsdorp
(...) I came up with another solution for the two common color variants issue, without having four complete/shortcuts: Create the shortcuts without the baseplate, as the other parts share the same color. (all blue or all red) Thus having three (...) (20 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 4.5V Semaphore Signal —Steve Bliss
(...) On the real parts, do the poles separate from the baseplates? If they do separate, then this is a good solution. If they don't separate, then this isn't such a good solution -- the 'complete' part file should be just like the part you'd pull (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 4.5V Semaphore Signal —Ross Crawford
(...) No, the poles are glued to the baseplate. ROSCO (20 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 4.5V Semaphore Signal —Steve Bliss
(...) Well, that approach won't work, then. :/ Steve (20 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)
