I wouldn't implement it unless it strikes you as something really fun
to try.

I think rigging CldliteApp::InitInstance() to be able to render offscreen
without a window would be much more useful.  It looks a bit harder than
I thought because it's not just about about replacing the window with a
bitmap.  That's the easy part.  You also have to unravel the maze of
messages used by an MFC app to initialize, open, and then draw the
document.  Yuck!

I would find *both* of these items useful.

But my needs probably *don't* represent the needs of most people.
