  New version of BrickDraw3D (Mac)

I've been releasing new versions of BrickDraw3D in the past few days. Tonight's build has a lot more than the last advertised version. First, the location has moved. New home page with more pretty pictures: (URL) It's still just a viewer. But now it (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Question about generating curves

(Note: Please follow-up to ".cad.dev".) (...) OK, first you need to bear in mind that LDraw does _NOT_ draw true curves, it draws _angles_. If you have enough angles in a line, from a sufficient distance, this angled line will _appear_ to be a true (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Plans to include LCAD or TLG part numbers on inventroy entries?

(...) The plan is slowly coming together. The inventories at Peeron ((URL) have most of the parts linked to Partsref (if the part is LDrawn) or sometimes a photo taken by Dan and Jen, as well as a list of the sets in the Peeron database containing (...) (...) Me too! I was just about to say he could get a copy of the function from the L3 parser code in ldglite but it wasn't there. Even worse, it turns out I just commented out the call to Color2RGB() in L3Input.cpp when I couldn't find a copy of (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Plans to include LCAD or TLG part numbers on inventroy entries?

I would find this useful in that I would be able to obtain a visual appearance for more obscurly named parts. In additon it would help to idenfity gaps in the LCAD part library.
