Hi all! I'm new on Lugnet so please be patient with me if this was yet mentioned. Can somebody tell me what's the best CAD software to create LEGO models on computer ? (...) Yes, I did use your spring2dat program. Excellent job! I was able to adjust and re-create a spring to fit in seconds! Only one change you need to make, The Description and Author lines get thier data swapped. No biggie, it's easy to adjust (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Got it! the line was not there. I have played with this quite a bit, so I'll try to explain what it did. L3lab was set to the default viewer, when I open the part to edit, L3lab also starts and changes the part view as changes are made. :D The (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

(...) Neither, I think. Maybe. (...) You only need to monitor the one passed on the command line. But, if ldglite always caches subfiles, it won't see actual code changes (which are written to the subordinate temp file). When polling detects that (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

Paul, Just for grins, try the following to manually set the Editor's viewing option. 1. Edit ldraw.ini 2. Locate the section [LDAO Editor]. If that line doesn't exist, add it. 3. In the [LDAO Editor] section, look for a line like: ShowViewWindow=2 (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

A few things to note. First off, I added command line support relatively late in my LDView development. Second, my initial command line support had some issues causing it to only work in certain situations. However, the latest released version (1.0) (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Sorry about the delay. The feature isn't working. It looks fine in some parts, but if you look at the tire in particular, some parts of the lines become dashed.   Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

(...) OK, I read that post and I'm confused. Is this a problem I can fix, or is it a problem with LDAO? It sounds like there are 3 files involved in polling through LDAO.
