Re: posting woes (when posting large DAT files)

Thanks, Todd. The real problem is that I was once again suffering from CRS. (Can't Remember..... "Stuff". ;-) Thanks, Franklin (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: posting woes (when posting large DAT files)

(...) Try this: 1. Go to (URL) 2. Click the "New" icon to compose a new message. 3. Type in a subject, a description in the body, and click the "Browse" button next to the "Upload/Attach DAT File" text. Now click "Post". Does that work for you? (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: posting woes (when posting large DAT files)

(...) And when you use that "New Message" icon, you get the upload file option. The only groups you get that option are the sub-groups under .cad.dat (.parts, .models, etc), because they accept DAT content. (...) That's because .cad.dat is an (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: posting woes (when posting large DAT files)

(...) I just saw that "New Message" icon in "cad.dat.PARTS" (although it still ain't there in ".cad.DAT"). I hadn't noticed it there before now. (I saw it in ".CAD", just not in ".cad.dat.PARTS"). :-P (...) [sigh] I think I'll go to bed, now... (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

posting woes (when posting large DAT files)

(...) Hi, Todd, 1. My usual method of posting: Compose a message in YahooMail (to "lugnet.cad.dat.part...net.com"), and copy-and-paste the DAT file into the body of the message. However, when the DAT file is over 30k, the copy-and-paste usually (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 4150p103.dat - Tile 2 x 2 Round with SW PodRacer Vent pattern

(...) What loops do you have to jump through to make it go? I see you're posting with Netscape 4.75 -- it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe there's something broken that I need to fix. Lemme know in more detail what happens! --Todd (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  L3PAdd-On v1.2.7

Here's where to get it: (URL) here's what's new: Version 1.2.7 ---...--- Fixed a bug in the routine to check for the validity of directories retrieved from the registry. Removed the final backslash from the output path (L3P didn't like it). Fixed a (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Searching for parts

(...) Sounds like the only way out of your dilemma is for the programs to be smart enough to recognize that the current directory *is* the ldraw\parts\ directory, and proceed accordingly. Steve (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Searching for parts

Awhile back there was a thread about seams, subparts, and relations between them with respect to L3P and L3Lab. After a great deal of confusion on my part about what was causing the problem, I had an e-mail conversation with Lars Hassing which (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Correct attribution? (was Re: Parts tracker needs more visibility

(...) Yes. For starters, consider this. LDraw.org the organization belongs in with other organizations. LDraw the program ought to be parallel to MLCad and LEOCad and the other groups devoted to programs. ldraw/parts seems somehow wrong. Parts at (...)   Re: Yet another L3PAO update

how to NAME patterned m/f faces for specific personas?...

Howdy! I've got a minor problem, and I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. As you may know, I recently encoded a few DAT files for some minifig head patterns, including some from the Star Wars theme.
