  Re: MPD spec

(...) Sorry to only get back now. I have the following questions: - Which (inline) file in the (.mpd) file is considered the root of the model - First (would be my obvious choice) ? - Last ? - we have to find out which ? The previous question raises (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: LDraw extended colors

(...) I will have to find a way how to define such colors in MLCad but I think I will provide an option where the user can define if he/she likes 24bit or 12bit colors. Generally no problem :-) Michael (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LDraw extended colors

The LDraw colors are 0-15, 32-47, 256-511 (and of course 16 and 24). Paul Gyugyi defined some more colors for LDLite, 17-23, 25, 57 and "Direct Colors" in the range 0x04000000-0x07FFFFFF. As MLCad supports these colors, I'm going to add support for (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Parts update

(...) I've been tied up lately, so I've been falling behind on checking parts into the process. I've got 86 files (new parts, fixed parts, subparts, and primitives) ready to be voted on. There are at least 60 more to look at before I can consider (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) How about whining? Tooooooodd, will you pretty pretty please have someone make the samurai minifigs/armour/equipment for me, pwease!!!   Parts update

Re: Are any of these parts done/in progress (BIG POST)

(...) Jonathan G: Take the above advice with a very large grain of salt. :-) Asking for parts to be made isn't actually a bad idea, inherently speaking. Since the entire L-CAD/LDraw parts effort is a spare-time endeavor for people, it all depends on (...) (25 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

oops. sorry if I insulted anyone. I intended no harm by that post. One other thing. In future, you should know that asking for parts to be made is not a good idea and most of the people here frown uopn it, especially for such a large list (I should know, I have had it happen to me numerous times) -- Jonathan Wilson (...)   Are any of these parts done/in progress (BIG POST)

I, an avid lego user in earlier years, was amazed to see the amount of progress and programs, particularly ldraw, that were created for lego use on computers.
