We are in desparate need of making resources available for download at ldraw.org - but we can't force program authors to make their own download pages. I will (...) A new release of stl2dat is available here (URL) creates now correctly the type 2 lines. I removed the bug with "partial adjacent facets". (was a silly bug, triangles where merged too early) The part name, author name and angle limit can be given in (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I used Platypus Animator (from (URL) to build an MPG file from a series of L3P-->POV files (see the results at (URL) I believe that Platypus can convert to an animated GIF also... Hello. I use L2P, L3P and POV-ray to generate high quality images from my dat files. Thank's to Lutz Uhlmann and Lars C. Hassing for their tools, they're very useful.
