Hold on.
Why not just have a button in the CAD program to turn the part inside-out by
automatically manipulating the orientation matrix in the parent dat file,
instead of having these extra CW/CCW flags all over the place?
The orientation matrix as initially read from a DAT file could be used as a
reference to be compared with the final contatenated orientation matrix when
the primitive actually gets rendered to decide whether it's supposed to
appear inside-out or not.
Maybe I'm missing something.
