It has a cool preview feature that lets you tweak out an image, deciding on quality vs size and it even gives you an estimate of the download time at 28.8. (...) | | | | | (...) Usually I just use PNG instead of GIF which cuts roughly 20% of the file size (on average). If you want to improve the GIF compression of images you have to reduce the colour depth of the images. I use pnmdepth (from the netpbm/pbmplus (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
