Re: Ldraw.org: Organization and look & feel

Tim: (...) I haven't got any of these for Netscape and I run lynx with a plain sans serif fixed width font I don't know the name of. :-) And lynx is just another browser. I am using version 2.8.1pre.9 (10 Oct 1998). You can find information about (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: narts posted to cad.dat`

(...) All I can say is, before you send _any_ parts (or narts), you should look at each and every one with a HYPERCRITICAL eye. If you note any flaws, don't send it. If people here on lugnet have noted flaws fix them, or don't send. Do NOT assume a (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: part: brick 1 x 2 w/ pattern, technic pin long w/ bush

Re: Ldraw.org: Organization and look & feel

  Re: fixed part: JW's parts

(...) sorry roy, but i have to disagree with you here... take a look at the 1x2 tile (3068)... simple, elegant, and as far as i'm concerned (especially after i went back and personally put in the bottom groove) it is *perfect*.. true, there isn't (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: fixed part: JW's parts

(...) this line concerns me very *very* much. (...) as a matter of fact.. yes.... while you *should* be able to enjoy modeling things using the existing library of LDraw elements, if i had known all along that you are 100% sans lego i would have (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Uploading of large DAT files is still broken

(...) OK, with the new upload-watcher in place, I can say with complete certainty that uploading of large DAT files is still broken. Actually, uploading them is OK, but the part where they go into the newsserver is broken. But it's still a bug. The (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: fixed part: JW's parts

Re: part: electric technic micromotor top

(...) It would be helpful, Jonathan, if you noted exactly what it is that you modified, as well as why, and what part(s) of it still need work. --Todd (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  L3P support of extended metacommands?

Lars, I think I remember someone saying that L3P does or would support the extended Meta-commands of LDLite (ie, translate, rotates, etc.) Is that true? I could really use it for my X-Oid Mech which I just split apart into multiple dat files so that (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
