The creation of new LEGO CAD programs based on the LDraw DAT format is great, but I continue to use LEdit for a number of reasons. (...) Bram is correct.. primatives are exactly what the name implies, general purpose "basic" shapes (spheres, cylinders, studs, etc) that are used by many of the LDraw elements in various ways, scaled to various dimensions... sub-parts are usually (...) (25 years ago, 20-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
