  Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

(...) <SNIP> (...) Thanks Jaco. I had been following the same line of research. Where LDraw has a 3-digit number and LDD now gives us a 4- or 5-digit version, I think we can treat that as "official" and rename in LDraw. Where there is a different 4- (...)   Renumbering parts! (was LEGOfactory and LDraw)

After some more research and thinking I found these parts too. They were (ofcourse) in the Excel file of Ildefonso! I should have thought of that before. 50950 Brick 1x3 with Bow (not yet in LDraw) 53480 Plate 8 x 8 with Road Straight (I made this (...)   Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

Hi all, Here is an update for the LEGO Facotry MLCad Favorites list. I have discoverd that some parts were double in the list. Some parts have a different LDraw number than the one LEGO uses. They are: 44237 = Brick 2 x 6 (=2456) 30367 = Cylinder 2 (...) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Minifig hair and hats

(...) How do you think most parts are made? On irregular parts, there's usually only so much measuring that can be done. In the end, (at least for me), things come down to eyeballing and a certain amount of adjusting things until they work. OTOH, if (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Minifig hair and hats

Is anyone working on more basic minifig stuff? Seems like every other week there are new patterns available, but not some of the basics like hair and some hats. Right now I'm looking for 3898.dat, the cook's hat, and I'd like the minifig hair with (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Keeping track of temporary part numbers

Is there any place where we can see temporary part numbers attributed to a part before official release? For example, Technic Liftarm 1 x 4 x 0.5 was called x200, then x137, and now 32449. It would be interesting to keep that information somewhere (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Set 622 (1978) Tipper Truck

That is the one! I did not find it, because it does not have the word "Pattern" in it! Should it? If so, I suggest a description change to these parts: 3010P20B.DAT Brick 1 x 4 with Town Car Grille Black 3010P20C.DAT Brick 1 x 4 with Town Car Grille (...)   Set 622 (1978) Tipper Truck

Hi all, I think one brick in the inventory on Peeron of this set is wrong.   Re: Click-Rotation Parts - Somebody else can finish my 48169.dat

(...) I see somebody else is working on these parts. I'll give my part into anybodies hands. I haven't the time and the liveliness to have more than three parts unfinished. So sombody else can finish my 48169.dat. CU Bernd (21 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Sir Bugge's lego page finally gone public! - Space, parts, sculpture and techniques!

After a long delay while fighting my father’s webhost to get them to support statistics on subdomains (since January), here it is with crappy statistics from nedstat instead. At last! It’s a page about all the models, I’ve made since the early (...)   Re: Click-Rotation Parts

(...) Because there are 24 cogs. So a 48-segmented primitive is easier to modify than a 16-segmented one. (...) OK, I'll try that. CU Bernd (21 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Click-Rotation Parts

(...) Why do high-res primitives make it easier to realize? Considering the size of this object, I'd lean toward needing to reduce it. Steve (21 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Are there any further news on the knight parts? I wanted to start building them and found this discussion. So it would be interesting how far the proceeding is come up to now. Michael Heidemann (mikeheide) (21 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: 3036p01.dat - Plate 6 x 8 with Red Side

(...) There have to be more parts like this for the set 310. I tried to model it in MLCad, but this both parts are not enought. Also why is this part not on the parts tracker? I cant find it there Michael Heidemann (mikeheide) (21 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: magnet.dat

The first question: I don't have the older trainsets. Have LEGO magnets always been the same size? (I think they have) Unless they've changed in size, we should all be using the same size magnet in LDraw. You are correct, s\magnet.dat is both the (...)   magnet.dat

I think I can not use magnet.dat for the old Plate 2 x 4 with Magnet Holder (x499.dat) for the following reason: 1) I assume, that the newly created parts should be like reality. 2) Magnet.dat looks to me like a subpart that should not be like it (...)
