currently there is spreading a rude behaviour at the PT, especially by the
reviewers. grabbing a part and fix an error before an author can get a glance on
it to see what's wrong. after I have spent weeks or even months to design this
f*** part don't you think that I also can fix a d*** l3P-error. back in the days
you kindly asked an author if he is willing to rewrite the code, or if you could
take the part over.
to my shame I have to admit that at a certain point in the past I also snatched
some part with hold votes and fixed them without permission BUT I took them over
only if there hasn't been done any work for months. nowadays you get a hold and
the next day your part has been fixed by the reviewer himself. for myself I
returned to ask the other authors if they are still interested in the part.
living this experience on my one was painful enough to making me rethink my
actions.

steve would you please add a feature to the PT, which will allow the authors to
reply to review-comments. today there is only one-way-discussion. we simply
don't have voice. I don't think that it is fair, that the only way we can reply
is resubmitting the code, overturning all the votes (a horror thinking that this
happens because, the reviewer is wrong - the reviewer not the author).

(I'm awfully sorry about the tone of this post, but it had to be said, the way
it has been said)

Woah, hold it there cowboy.

The ONLY fix I will apply to a part not already submitted as a fix would be to
slightly adjust the part position.  I feel that small and minor errors can be
fixed by anyone and would only fly off the handle (ok, I don't fly off the
handle but others do) if someone submitted a major change to my part.  In fact I
would be not at all be bothered if someone fixed some minor error in my code,
after all they know where it is.

That being said,  I think that this rant should have been privately Emailed to
the people in question (Myself and Steffen) and not posted here.
