As I was building set 358 Rocket Base in MLCad I noticed that the Cone 4 x 4 x 3 ((URL) does not exist, not even on the PT. I also want to build trainset 725 in MLCad, which also uses this cone. IMHO a mosaic can't replace true vectors or poligons. regardless of the resolution you will still need an obcene amount of quads to define the shapes. it won't be the giant leap but it would be the small step if the LSC could with a new (...) (...) That's true. Bmp2dat needs some real edge tracking algorithms instead of just runlength encoding. Something like this. (URL) also needs an autorotate function. I got this file with the 0302 update, it includes 103a, 103b and 103c but I can't find them anywhere. I checked the latest complete.zip from ldraw.org and the other updates there but no luck. (...) You can't do it with a quarter sphere (because one quarter shears the wrong way (but with an 8th sphere you can shear y and z for movements in x. X is your pole of rotation. As you 'squish' the primitive, the angle will change slightly, but it's kinda like the tangent angle is the last to change - by the time you switch it significantly (...) Whilst there is probably a unique TLC number for decorated parts, the LDraw convention is to use a Pxx suffix to the part number, based on the ranges of Pxx numbers documented at (URL) In this case p01 is appropriate.
