...And since we've released an entirely new version of the Minifig Hand since I
first posted that file, I need to completely re-orient the Hook.
BTW, along these lines, I've been meaning to ask something. I need to "squish"
a quarter sphere (i.e. 2-8sphe.dat) so that the angle at the pole of rotation is
less than 90 degrees. Any ideas? I haven't been able to figure out how to do
this just yet...

| (...) Strictly speaking, (assuming I understand you correctly) you can't do this. As you 'squish' the primitive, the angle will change slightly, but it's kinda like the tangent angle is the last to change - by the time you switch it significantly (...) | (...) You can't do it with a quarter sphere (because one quarter shears the wrong way (but with an 8th sphere you can shear y and z for movements in x. X is your pole of rotation. This one shears y and z by 0.2 and scales them by 0.5 to give a nice (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
