  New part: Brick 1 x 4 x 2 with 1 x 2 x 1 Centre Stud Top  [DAT]

Prompted by Mike Walsh's WTB/WTT request for this part, on looking for the LDraw description I was unable to find it ... so here is the part. Decription is still open to change. I think its most popular recent use is in the BSB, but suspect it dates (...) (25 years ago, 28-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Support Insectoids Leg Small, part #30211, partially complete

[XPOST lugnet.faq, XFUT lugnet.cad.dev. Please follow-up appropriately.] (...) Inlining is the process of replacing a subfile reference with the contents of the subfile. Like this: b = 12*a a = c + 3 If you _inlined_ a into b, you'd get: b = 12*c + (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.faq)

  Re: New part: Plate 6 x 6 x 2/3 Cross with Dome - 30303.dat

(...) In this case, that's about all that can be done. The area to be plotted isn't a clean section of a cylinder, so you can't use the sloped cylinder primitives to fill part/most of the surface. Steve (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Help! The Classic 4-blade rotor has been overwritten!

(...) Thank you, thank you, thank you! It works, it really works! That helped me out tremendously. If you need anything (such as a custom minifig torso), let me know. James J. (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New part: Plate 6 x 6 x 2/3 Cross with Dome - 30303.dat

(...) This is going to be a fairly difficult part to use, with that odd angle. I remember reading your original post about the non-perpendicularity of the 1x2 bracket plate. The first thing I did when I came home was to take out my own parts to (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Help! The Classic 4-blade rotor has been overwritten!  [DAT]

  Re: New part: Plate 6 x 6 x 2/3 Cross with Dome - 30303.dat

(...) Hey, thanks it wasn't too bad for my second part. (...) I'll take care of that. (...) I think I know what you mean. I wasn't sure how to deal with those two tubes. I guess I will replot them manually. Paul (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Support Insectoids Leg Small, part #30211, partially complete

(...) Thanks Steve, I'll take a look at what you have done. Can you clarify 'inline'for me, I have seen it in several parts. I guess I have just missed how it is used. Paul (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Help! The Classic 4-blade rotor has been overwritten!

To all who SHOULD be concerned: In the latest LDraw upgrade, the 4 bladed rotor (it was included in many McDonalds happy meal sets in the middle 1980s) with the blades the size of a 1x2 plate radiating around a 1 x 1 x 2/3 hole (Part #3464) has been (...)   Re: New part: Plate 6 x 6 x 2/3 Cross with Dome - 30303.dat

(...) I got just one response from someone who measured the angle on his as being 86 or 87 degrees. -John Van (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New part: Plate 6 x 6 x 2/3 Cross with Dome - 30303.dat

(...) Did you reach any conclusions as to wether the 1x2 plate is connected at a 90° angle or not? I seem to remember this discussion earlier on, but cannot remember what the conclusion was. Fredrik (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Paul, Should anyone ever come up with part #30209, the base to the 4x4 Insectoid/Spaceport dome attached to a 1x2 plate, let me know. (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Support Insectoids Leg Small, part #30211, partially complete  [DAT]

Here's what I did so far on this part. 30211a.dat is work-subfile, not *necessarily* intended to be left un-inlined after the part is finished. (...) At first glance, I've only got three comments: - Very nice job overall! - You might want to split the KEYWORDS line into two KEYWORDS lines. Generally, meta-statements and comment lines should be no more than 80 characters. - The two outlying (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
