  Re: Train Trach Switch Progress

(...) Oops, almost missed this post :-) It's still in the making, by me. About 75% done. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Is this part done? Shark!!!

(...) Sorry for the late reply, but I think that this part isn't done. I wanted to create but now I have to do with the dragon body. CU Bernd (22 years ago, 29-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) A 3x3, 3x4 and 4x4 trilogy : * is only 3 files which satisfies the demanded compactness * is 9 to 16 times faster than individual studs which satisfies the demanded speed & size gain * covers any rectangle >= 6x6 which satisfies the demanded (...)   Is this part done? Shark!!!

Has anyone made the shark part? I need it for LL6257 also Steven Spilberg need one for his 5th movie (22 years ago, 26-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Technic wheel 20x30

Does anyone know where I can find the Technic wheel 20x30 hub used in this set? (URL) know I have had it before and seen it, but it got lost. Is it official yet? I cannot seem to find it in LDraw... Thanks. Jaco (22 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Is it important the difference of these parts?

(...) From my own space and castle lego collection. The frontier is actually a little more fuzzy. Some year 1985 sets may still have the original 4085a version. Or may be it depends how early/late the box is produced in the year. I don't know (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.space, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Off-topic.clones: I wish TLG would have made this part!

(...) Yes indeed, that's a super-cool part. It's already in the clone library but not yet released. I'll have to check again when I get home, but your version seems more concise than mine! By the way--if you'd care to model any other Oxford bits, (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Off-topic.clones: I wish TLG would have made this part!  [DAT]

(If you get an error from the renderer "Studc.dat not found", simply change the two first lines to refer to Stud.dat instud - sorry, instead. :o) /Tore 0 CLONE: Plate 1 x 2 with Rounded Corners 0 Name: C010102p.dat 0 REM Name not yet approved by (...)   Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) Maybe it's better to call the Groups instead of Clusters. The file names would be less confusing that way. /Tore (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) Hey, thanks for thinking of me! At present, I believe the only "official unofficial" stud primitives for the clone.dat project are studc.dat and stud2cl.dat. I'll have to double-check the studc2z.dat, though. In the interest of diplomacy and (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: Train Track Switch Progress

(...) I sold it to my best friend and I still knows where it is (mayby I can buy it back.....) His father was a teacher and during the summerholiday we could use an empty classroom in the school, 50 square meters filled with blue and gray (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) I thought of 4x4, too. First I rejected the idea as I thought it would only save 15 lines in a file but then I realized that it can be used more than once in a file. I can't find any other sombinations that I would like to have. Maybe, maybe a (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) In principle this sounds OK to me, but I would want to be somewhat restrictive about how many new files we have - 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 sound good combinations. What others? Regarding a naming convention, though, do we know how all renderers recognise (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: Train Track Switch Progress

(...) Thanks! :o) And here's a little more progress: (URL) (19k) Now it's getting really tough... (...) That was just what I was thinking... ;o) (...) You did WHAT? /Tore Wishing I had a floor big enough for my blue track... (22 years ago, 19-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Train Trach Switch Progress

(...) Starts looking great! When you are finnished, I will include these into my track generator! Bytheway, does anyone know where part 3230b.dat is? (Outer curve slotted) My track generator now uses 3230a.dat in gray to be at least able to generate (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Anyone got a 41881 ?

(...) [snip] "Library subdirectory must be included" is just the PT's cute way of saying "I didn't find it". Sometimes, it's easier to go to the parts list page, and do a local search for numbers. Steve (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Orientation of train tracks

(...) Moving parts requires using a different number. Which is possible if we aren't parked on a 'real' part number, but are using a 3DN (three digit number). But it's not possible if a part is already on the right number. (...) The 9V tracks (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Question about part 6233

I was looking at part 6233 tonight and noticed a number of primitives that are inlined. I restored the part to the non-inlined state and did not notice any change in the part. As there is not one listed in the part header, is there a reason for the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
