(...) Studs aren't 8-sided cylinders; they are 16-sided cylinders just like the other cylinders. The low-resolution stud files are 8-sided cylinders. These files have the same filenames as the regular studs, but with a '2' instead of a 'd' (i.e. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Does anyone know why studs are 8 sided cylindars but every other cylindar based object in LDraw is 16 sided?. Has this issue ever been addressed? -Orion (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

I've got a part in the tracker that has a certify vote and a hold vote. The hold vote says that the part has 2 overlapping triangles. I don't know if i've got an unofficial edition of this part but it seems to have part of one of the quads missing, in MLCad at least, I have corrected this by simply moving the start point around but I'm not sure what was originally causing it 0 (...) (...) I agree. I think the problem is that the current half cylinder primitives expect to be mated with other cylinder primitives to create a whole cylinder. Connect edge A with optional line to edge B without optional line. But connect edge A to (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad)

(...) If you are using the original ldraw.exe program, you won't have any luck with MPD files. LDraw.exe doesn't understand them. I'm definitely in favor of moving the "Brush" parts into another category. I'm not convinced that "Car" is the best category for these elements, especially since the new names indicate they should be in "Car Wash", not "Car". Does anyone else have (...)
