Re: Fixed Part #2791- added edge ridges

(...) Yes, if a part-file does have the standard L-CAD header lines, it was written by James. (...) It lookes good. I can't do a hard analysis on it right now -- I don't have one of these parts handy, for comparision. But I'll make a couple of (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Working on fix for part 2791

(...) I use LDAO's editor and/or Editpad, a Notepad replacement, along with L3Lab with polling activated for the modeling I've done so far. I find L3Lab very useful because of the mouse-controlled rotation and other features, like random coloring of (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Fixed Part #2791- added edge ridges  [DAT]

I have completed the fix on part #2791- Technic steering rack I added the edge-ridges in linetype 4 by re-doing the sloped edges. by the way, who made this part in the first place? I assumed it was James. Hope you like it! Jonathan Gevaryahu (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Kidvention: Part (6085) Needed!

(...) Bram, If its enough out of position to make a big difference, I'd start from scratch. Even though 6084 is an official release, if is off, it should be ammended in future releases.   Re: Kidvention: Part (6085) Needed!

While examining part 6084 Windscreen Top (Aquanaut Sub) to see what portions I might be able to reuse in creating part 6084, I noticed quite a few errors in the part. There are many extra type 2 lines, and even a misplaced quadrilateral. The whole (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Working on fix for part 2791

(...) Have you tried LDAO's Editor? It's basically a (weak) text editor with some added functions specific to the needs of editing parts. For viewing, LDAO requires either LDLite or L3Lab. Steve (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Working on fix for part 2791  [DAT]

i'm working on a fix for part 2791 to code the ridges on the two sloped edges in linetype 4 instead of 2. This should make raytraces look decent. I'm about 15% done so far. can anyone suggest a program which can make this easier? mlcad, although (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Problem with unofficial parts?

(...) No problem, Paul; like I said... thanks for your good work :) (...) I still use LEdit for all model-building, and LDlite for rendering (with LDAO to tie them all together).   Re: Problem with unofficial parts?  [DAT]

(...) I could be misremembering or just mistaken, but I believe the problem is with the extra spaces around the filename on subfile references.
