Yes, if a part-file does have the standard L-CAD header lines, it was
written by James.

It lookes good. I can't do a hard analysis on it right now -- I don't have
one of these parts handy, for comparision.
But I'll make a couple of comments anyway:
1. Don't use WRITE statements in part files. WRITE (and PRINT) are
intended for messages to people viewing a final model.
2. Should the segments of the sloped surfaces be aligned, or mis-aligned?
I thought they were a smooth surface, with grooves cut into them. This
file looks more stepped than smooth.
