those two lines were left over from when i was editing the model. they
shouldn't be there. oops.

2. Should the segments of the sloped surfaces be aligned, or mis-aligned?
I thought they were a smooth surface, with grooves cut into them.  This
file looks more stepped than smooth.

yes, they SHOULD be aligned, and I'm working on a slight modification which
will achieve that.

I can't do a hard analysis on it right now -- I don't have one of these parts handy, for comparision. But I'll make a couple of (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
