I built this model last year and decided to post it. I put orthodontic rubber bands between the 1x1 plates with light holders to give the pivoting chassis some resistance. Nice model! It's a great design, it's not overly large, just the right size. The color sceme isn't bad but, I think it would look better in the explorian color sceme. Calvin, Very nice job on this. All the steps match the official instructions, and sub-steps are subfiled nicely. I have a couple of suggestions for improving your file to perfection: 1. I really like this one, Bram. I've been envisioning a pod based on a triangle, and here it is. I noticed the back of the pod goes back to a square shape. Why? Great pod in any case. Yikes! I just saw SW EP1 again last night, and the thought of driving one of those things head first at those speeds is a little unnerving! Just an LDraw tip: Your models are both facing left in LDraw, so that when someone tries to view it from the front, they actually see the right side. Also, the ideal format for submitting sets is .mpd.
