YAL: Yet Another Loader :) —Bram Lambrecht
I don't know if this little vehicle would be any good at actually loading stuff, but it can at least carry little things around. If someone has a better idea for arms, please share. As always, please LMKWYT! --Bram 0 Loader 0 Name: loader.dat 0 (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: YAL: Yet Another Loader :) —Ben Vaughan
I think I'd have to disagree with you Mladen. If those were pneumatic or hydraulically driven arms or forks like on a fork lift, they'd probably be plenty strong. Anything bigger, while perhaps more aesthetically pleasing, would most likely leave (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Arm size an issue? (Was: YAL: Yet Another Loader :)) —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) LOL -- Barbara's first words after seeing my loader were, "it's a crab? no, is it a gorilla?" I think that means the arms were too big. :-, (...)       How could it lift cargo if the rollbar gets in the way? Look at them, they can't touch each other and are way too small to hold large objects. (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Sorry about the last message; sounded kinda rude. Anyway, yeah they (claws) would look more like forks if they were longer, but then how would the operator get out while carrying a load? Oh well, seems like every loader would have that problem (...) (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) The roll cage on mine doesn't open anyway...the driver has to enter through the side or top.      (...) I like it. Love the legs, love the rollbars. And, given a powerful enough auto-balancing system, it looks like it could do a mean sprint. ;-) Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

I love the loader, but the minifig seems to hav had a melt down. When I load it into mlcad, or convert it with L3P, the minifig parts are all stacked on top of each other like they were not transformed or rotated. Is anyone else seing this? -Chuck (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: YAL: Yet Another Loader :) —Steve Bliss
(...) Try viewing it with LDLite or L3Lab. The minifig was made using LDao's Minifig Modeler, which spits out code with LDLite language extensions. MLCAD and L3P don't recognize the LDLite commands, so they render incorrectly. BTW: the newest (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) That's much better, however, even in L3LAB, the hands don't attach to the arms. How can I fix it? I really enjoying rendering these images for my desktop wallpaper. -Chuck (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
