The white thing with two ball joints to which you connect the wheels.
Look at the point where you connect the rack; is it a cross axle hole or
an ordinary technic hole?
Also, look at the pictures on the box (inside the cover, I think).
Notice the cross axle hole.

| (...) Ah, yes. I see it now. Mine is the later version. Wow.,.. that must mean they not only changed the white thingys, but also the actual ball connectors there... Sidenote: are the shifting parts of the gearbox, the ones that fit over the (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
