The easiest way is probably to try to install a package
named "Mesa-devel". If it complains something is most likely
missing.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about Mesa/GLUT to help here.

| OK, I got the linux-ldraw-library.tar.gz and extracted it! Great. It worked, all files are nicely in directories! (...) Where would I get these basic C development libraries? Or how can I check if they are there? (...) Right. I created the file (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)
