  Re: Line Thickness

(...) Well, after rendering at 300% and then scaling the images down again, I achieved an effect like that of anti aliasing. If I hadn't scaled down the image, the effect would simply be "thicker lines", as you say. It all depends on the useage of (...) (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

What about trying to implement something like anti aliasing - I believe algorithms for that should be available somewhere? Michael -- ===...=== Ing Michael Lachmann Individual software development Tel.: +43 676 406 86 95 e-mail: (...) (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Line Thickness

(...) I tend to scale my images down so I just want thicker lines. As FG says, when you have thick lines and you scale down, the scaling (since you end up taking the average of several pixels) tends to give you antialiased-like lines. So if you give (...) (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)

In lugnet.cad, Michael Lachmann writes (back in December): (...) Like Larry, I'm using MLCAD as part of producing printed instructions, and making the lines thicker would be very very helpful (in fact I can't use MLCAD to output the bitmap images at (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I've implemented that already for the next version and during that I found out that there was a stupid bug in the code which caused lines to be disappearing. Now the drawing is much clearer, means lines are clearly visible. I also implemented (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Line Thickness

Awesome, I need this too. Line thickness and with a good contasting color is a must for printing. I find black the worst offender in LeoCAD. Hey Leonardo, I find that the line thinkness setting does not affect the save as bitmap or export html. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Line Thickness

(...) I too need something to make nice printed instructions with. I hear good things about MLCAD, _except_ for the proviso about the line thickness. A (hopefully) simple? fix would unlease a flood of users of MLCAD I suspect. What's the cost to buy (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

Keep up the great work. We all appreciate whatever time you can spare to improve an already fantastic program. I can't wait for the new version, But I understand about things "coming up". I just recently became a new father and I just don't know (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)
