I tend to scale my images down so I just want thicker lines. As FG says,
when you have thick lines and you scale down, the scaling (since you end up
taking the average of several pixels) tends to give you antialiased-like lines.
So if you give us thicker lines and the ability to render at arbitrarily
large sizes, you get ersatz anti aliasing for free.
And that has to be Way Easier(tm) than implementing "correct" antialiasing.
Using the images as is isn't practical because I tend to scale things every
single time to get them to fit 3 or 4 across the page after cropping the non
significant parts away, etc.
So to summarize the above ramble, give me parameterizable thicker lines,
please!! Thanks...
