    Looking for parts —Jim Foulds
Hi all, I am looking for DAT file for 2 Lego pieces: 1) The canopy/housing that came from the Aquazone sets, if you look at the Solo Sub #6110 you will see what I mean as it basically makes up the entire vehicle. I realize the see-thru part is (...) (24 years ago, 27-May-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Looking for parts —Chris Alano
(...) <snipped one piece> (...) Hi Jim, Looks like I have some free time this weekend; I'll give the skids a shot. If my eyes haven't failed me, it looks like part #30248. -Chris (24 years ago, 28-May-00, to lugnet.cad)

New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Chris Alano
Here's the skids as promised. What catagory should this go into? Is it a brick, a bracket, or a plate? Possibly vehicle(car) base? Should its size (6x12x1&1/3)be somewhere in the description? I had checked the parts tracker to see if anybody was (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Thanks Chris for doing a great job on the helicopter skids! Sorry about not posting sooner, I was away on a much needed vacation. Now I can finish modeling my Turbo sled! Thanks again! - Jim F. (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Steve Bliss
(...) How about the 'Plane' category? The existing categories for vehicle-related pieces are Boat, Car, Plane and Train. Out of those, Plane seems like the best bet to me. Although the skids wouldn't actually work on a plane (at least not more than (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) Are you sure about that? It has always been my impression that "long" things face the X direction in LDraw. Take a look at the Car Bases, for example, a majority of them span the X axis. I can't see why the helicopter base shouldn't. Fredrik (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Tore Eriksson
(...) Some bases are correctly lined up, some aren't. I agree with Steve here, it sohould be rotated. Has this part been officialed yet? I still don't have it in my Parts directory, and was just about to model it when I made a search and found it (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Steve Bliss
(...) The part definitely hasn't been made official yet. A quick check on the parts tracker doesn't turn up a file either. If you want to finish this and submit it, that would be Very Cool. :) Steve (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Tore Eriksson
(...) OK, done. I have rotated it 90 degrees and submitted the file to the Tracker. As I don't know whether is OK or not to submit other people's parts, I added a note telling this, just to have the proceeding tried in a pilot case. /Tore (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 30248 Helicopter skids (WAS) Re: Looking for parts —Steve Bliss
(...) Thanks for posting the comment along with the file. I think that was a good idea. Considering that we haven't heard from Chris Alano in awhile, I think it's ok that you posted the file. Steve (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Looking for parts —Jonathan Wilson
I did not make either of the parts you refered to, I only posted them because somone asked for them. And anyway somone is working on the helicopter skids. (24 years ago, 29-May-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Looking for parts —Jim Foulds
