Yet another Datsville update —John VanZwieten
I finally got POV to work again, so check out the latest at (2 URLs) . The overhead image map can only be viewed at the geocities site. I updated the POV file download, too, so anyone who would like to take a crack at their own renderings, go for (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

John VanZwieten: Nice with a new update, but ... It looks like I messed up the colour of the windscreen on my mail van. It should be transparent light blue (41) and not transparent dark blue (33). - It's not a spaceship you know. Play well, Jacob (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Yet another Datsville update —John VanZwieten
It actually is color 41. Looks like a problem with l3p color definition. Anyone done a good tr. lt. blue in POV? -John Van Jacob Sparre Andersen <sparre@sys-323.risoe.dk> wrote in message news:FI3zBq.LBE@lugnet.com... (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Yet another Datsville update —Ryan Dennett
IIRC color 43 trans-dark cyan works pretty well in POV. That is the color I originally used for my car windshields when I first started using Ldraw, but then I stopped because I liked color 41 better in Ldraw. Ryan nice, pics, btw. ***...*** REPLY (...)          Re: Yet another Datsville update —James Jackson
(...) Actually I use color 43 (Trans. Cyan or Trans.-Lt. Teal) for my town windows and visors in LDraw/LEdit. It tends to look more realistic (when compared to the Legos in question). I use 41 for the burnt-out Trans. Chartreuse from M:Tron, (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Yet another Datsville update —Ryan Dennett
One, problem that you haven't fixed is that on the right(northbound) one way street, the stoplight is facing in the wrong direction. You would either have to have the post on the other side of the street. Ryan. ***...*** REPLY SEPARATOR ***...*** (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I noticed you had trouble trying to apply the walk signals. Because of that I am re-submitting the Texas Traffic Signal with upgraded instructions (and 2 walk signals conjoined at the pole.) (...) In that case, you'll be getting people, goin' (...)          Datsville lights, version 1.01 —James Jackson
(...) In this message is an update to the current glitches in the Datsville traffic situation. The following problems are covered: A.         Re: Yet another Datsville update —Bram Lambrecht
(...) Looks good! A couple comments about the landscaping: 1) If you increase r_l (or whatever I called the length of the river) the turns won't be quite so sharp. 2) I know it adds to rendering time, but turning the fog on for the non-overhead (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Yet another Datsville update —Ryan Dennett
A couple of comments on the update. 1. The dead end street to the right of the city hall has got some grass growing in the cracks :) 2. The water tower image map is messed up. 3. While looking at the lugnet datsville page I noticed you had done a (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
