The 2009-03 LDraw parts update has been now been released. This update includes 561 files in the core library, including 269 new parts, and many more files updated with improvements for Back Face Culling support. A further 8 parts have been (...) (15 years ago, 29-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad) !!

(...) I know is imposible to say how many clicks per second you year if is like 25 i meant something to give the effect or beliebe that each part has a sound. Same goes for video how can we tell 25 fps or 30 or 50 fps without a computer anyways. (15 years ago, 29-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

Hello, I whould like to add sound effects to my videos these videos are all 25 FPS = 25 pieces of lego per second some sets take 10 to 20 seconds to build I whould love to have sound for each piece of lego that gets added, I think you all get the (...) (15 years ago, 28-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

(...) No it does not use bones, because imho it doesn't need to. This because LDraw models are relatively static (no skin needs to be 'stretched' etc). The basics are still the same as in 1.0, but along the way I added some other stuff like POV-Ray (...) (15 years ago, 22-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

Thank you! I'll have to try it out. Last time I tried the program it didn't have any notion of 'bones' like in other animation software. Does the current version have this? I.e. I'd like to be able to reuse settings for multiple models without (...) (15 years ago, 22-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

(...) CAD tool mentioned) doesn't have an editing UI at all. It has a viewer for the files, and the files are in a script format. So creating files involves writing scripts. It actually seems comparable to writing POV code, but in a different (...) (15 years ago, 18-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Tim, congrats on the 2009 James Jessiman Award. Glad to see you haven't forgotten us :) Even though we call it CAD, our LDraw based CAD (software wise) is much more like an interactive OpenGL environment than a true Mechanical Engineering or (...) (15 years ago, 18-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)
