For the last several weeks, I have been part of group of people working to fill in the colors that are missing from LDconfig.ldr, and basically, make sure the entire contents of the file are correct and laid out properly. There are a lot of colors (...) (17 years ago, 18-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

Hello All, I'm just getting started in rendering with POV-Ray. You can see my first attempt at the URL below. I attempted to replicate the look of the (URL) McLaren MP-42> Formula One car using the 8458 Silver Champion model. I got the colors and (...) (...) I have POVray 3.6 running perfectly on my Vista machine (have you tried installing that one?). LPub 4.X has no problems either. Nor does the latest LDview or most other LDraw related programs I've tried (a few part authoring tools break the (...) (17 years ago, 15-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) When I heard about the Vista announcement, the first thing I did was buy 4 new copies of XP pro, but I guess ignoring Vista isn't so good over the long run. I'll have to get Vista and run it under Sun's Virtual Box, running on my x86 Mac and (...) (17 years ago, 14-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Use LPub 4 with LDView or LDGLite for the building instructions. Use L3P and L3PAddOn for creating the POV file for rendering. I'd also recommend making 2 model files. One for building instructions and one of the whole model for rendering you (...) (17 years ago, 11-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)
