Steve, is it possible that an older version of LDAO's editor could have
become confused by the old line-endings that ldraw.cgi used to put out?
If so, then that's probably the root of the problem, and it's probably all
moot by now.

It's possible, but I think (no, strike that; let me check--it will only
take a minute).  Drat!  I scan'n'replace for bare CR's, but not bare LF's.


So, yes, LDAO would have a problem with .DAT files where the lines are
broken by just LF's, instead of CRLF's.
