Now this one introduces some new stuff to me! I have been to Anton's web site
before (and admired his work), but I did not realize what the Converter did or
that it worked independently of L3P. I have not had time to play with it much
yet but I did one quick rendering based on the initial part of your video and it
worked. Hurray! Incidentally I already had povray 3.6.1 (which I built some time
ago with a simple ./configure, make, make install) and so far it appears to work
well.

Of course, I did have a problem in that the model I tried includes parts that
don't seem to be in Anton's library (3 x 12 wedge, maybe others). But I think I
could integrate bits generated with L3P to take care of those situations. At any
rate, now I can see how useful macros are. I look forward to more POV-Ray
experimenting.

Jim

I've posted the next video showing how to convert the file to POV-Ray and how to render it. (URL) (18 years ago, 17-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)
