  Piece authoring question...

When designing a part with a graphic on it, like a minifig torso, for instance, is it possible to "overlap" image shapes of different colors, or must there only be one "level" of image on a surface? How would LDraw represent a DAT which had layered (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Mechanoid model

(...) Unless you're referring to the Technic seat, LEdit/LDraw does have the other two seats (standard and space). Since Fortress Maximus, I've since completed Brainstorm in jet mode w/Arcana and Nightbeat. I've also modified two of Lego's larger (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: What is 'LDraw?'

(...) Should it stay this way, or should we move towards a more structured organization? If so, what are the criteria for membership? Does the group need a leader(s), and if yes, what is the role(s) of the leader(s)? (...) But it (or the JJ (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw DAT certification for clones?

(...) ?? (...) I agree. It looks to me that the article could be edited for clarity and layout. Someone with better knowledge of the DAT file than me want to do that? Either I or someone else can put it in the ldraw.org page format, the template is (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: What is 'LDraw?'

(...) Right now, the website pretty much *is* the organization. We don't have a membership list, or a secret handshake, or even a definition of who's in the group. I'm alright with this loose organization, but I feel that there isn't a big point of (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  hoses

I was wondering if the hoses can be used with MLCAD. I have all the updated parts lists and can't locate them in the menu on the right of the screen? Am I doing something wrong by chance or are they not there? Brett (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: What is the IP for ldraw.org?

(...) ...Cool! :-, I've needed this functionality on my NT box for a *long* time, and it never occurred to me that MS could've gotten this one right. ;-) Thanks! Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: What is the IP for ldraw.org?

(...) In Windows, looks for the hosts file in the main Windows directory. If it isn't there, create one. If you use Notepad, be sure it doesn't change the filename to hosts.txt when you save it. Steve (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw DAT certification for clones?

(...) Question #20. I don't about "official", but I have some other words to describe it... That article (question 20) is too large for the FAQ, and should be broken out as a separate item/page on the website. (...) Seems like the best way to go (...)   Re: **** MLCAD V1.6 IS AVAILABLE NOW ****

  Re: Line in the Sand

(...) I like your explanation better, but I think we're both missing the point: this paragraph is supposed to be about INVERTNEXT, not inversion. Fewer details are appropriate at this point. More details should go in (1) the explanation of inversion (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: **** MLCAD V1.6 IS AVAILABLE NOW ****

(...) unfortunately the jeep was never CAD'd in any LDraw util... i modeled all the elements and shot the renders in 3DStudioR4 (before i knew about LDraw and that all the elements were already available)... it's not a MOC, just set #8816 (URL) know (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Help with M-Peedy utility

(...) hmmm (again)... still no problems on my end... i don't know if you're running LDAO or not (M-Peedy doesn't require it) but if you are, can you email me a copy of your LDraw.ini (found in your windows directory)... that's the only file that (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: help! trying to pose mini-fig arms

(...) grrr.. that's right... i haven't used this switch in a while... forgot that 1.6 broke it... and i don't have a copy of 1.5 that i can send... anyone out there have the 1.5 release of LDLite, or a location where it can be DL'd???? J (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)
